Evidence of Social Problem Outcomes
1. The following video shows examples of many women living in Ontario talking about the struggles they face in their daily lives within the working force. In the video it states that on average, women earn 71% of what men make and even with the same education, men are still making more money a lot faster than their female colleagues. This is a huge issue for women in our society today. [9]
2. In 2006, the federal Conservative party cut off fundings for women's groups that do advocacy, lobbying or general research. These independent groups are meant to promote equality for women's economic, social, political and legal rights. These groups cannot question, analyze and give different perspectives on women's rights to the government without the support from the government. [10]

3. Unfortunately, only 3 of Canada's Top 100 CEOs are women. The reason why the vast majority of the Top 100 CEOs in Canada are male is not because they are luckier or they worked harder than everyone else, it's due to discrimination.
Unlucky, lazy, or just female? Why there aren't more women in the top 100?
4. The Action Travail des Femmes claimed that the CN discriminated against hiring women to work in "blue-collar positions," which are also known as manual jobs. This was brought to the Supreme Court of Canada and the CN was founded guilty. So, in order to stop the same or similar types of (discriminatory) practices in the future, the CN was required to hire one woman in every four people who was hired until the percentage of women working in the CN was raised to 13%.
The Canadian National Railway promoted policies discouraging women from working in blue-collar positions
